Max Mispaugh retired after a 39 year career as a music educator. He received a bachelor and master’s degree from Ball State University where he majored in trombone. After attending the Navy School of Music he performed with Navy Bands for 3 years. He is currently the Associate Conductor of the Clearwater Community Band and a member of the Rhythm Kings of Tarpon Springs, Florida. He is a cofounder of the Brass Ring and played trombone in the Brass Ring recording featured on this website.
